RECIPE

Chicken Siomai

Ingredients:

2 lbs ground chicken
3/4 cup minced shrimp
1/4 cup sesame oil
1 cup minced white mushroom
2 teaspoons chicken powder
1 large yellow onion minced
1 cup minced carrots
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 egg
A pack of wonton wrappers

 

Procedures:

On a large bowl, just combine all the ingredients for the filling and then place the wanton wrapper in your palm, spoon-in a tablespoon of the filling and wrap it leaving the top part open. Be careful in wrapping to avoid tears in the wanton wrapper. When you’re done, steam it for about 25 to 30 minutes, then you’re done!
